Meditation Advice - Pith Instructions by Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche - Dzogchen

These are pith instructions. Relax, listen, enjoy. If you take this instruction to heart, then at the bare minimum, you will experience greater peace, less fear and an increasing clarity. There is no rush. It is always here now to recognize. Don't force anything. The words of a Master are meant to benefit beings.

Keep in mind that, if you do not have a teacher, the teacher's ultimate method is to introduce you to the inner guru/teacher/master that reveals the profound meaning directly and unmistakably. A realized teacher assists you in that primary point. If you study well, (initially) and practice what you are practicing right now where you are at, it can unfold naturally and allowing that is effortless, which is difficult in the sense that we habituate towards acquiring, grasping, wanting, etc. However, the nature of mind contains that, as well.

It makes and excellent, 15-minute, per-session contemplation. It sinks in like a lotus petal on melting butter.

Dilgo Khyentse (1910-1991) was a highly revered meditation master and scholar of the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism. Respected and beloved in all schools of Tibetan Buddhism--and other Buddhist traditions--he is recognized as one of the greatest masters of meditation and compassionate action.

Translated by Ani Jinba Palmo - a nun in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. She was a student of and translator for Dilgo Khyentse until his death in 1991.

The link must have changed since I posted this.

I have updated the link. It should work now. The owner of the channel also has a Google Drive spot to download all her readings from. Go to her channel by clicking her name and then click on "community".

Thanks for your comment and you are very welcome.
