This is totally accurate for me.
23 Signs of An Introvert:

*You've been called "too intense."
( anybody besides me ever hear that?)
*Giving a talk in front of 500 people is less stressful than having to mingle with those people afterwards.
( I always used to wonder why I felt like that)
here's the whole list of 23 traits.
Is it you????

(60,011 posts)Extroverts get highly energized from parties and large group sports watching
introverts get drained of energy by having to socialize, chatter in small talk, etc.
but introverts get re-charged by doing things alone...reading, writing, thinking, gardening,
stuff that extroverts would be bored with.
Extroverts need external stimuli
Introverts need the space and time of internal process.

(54,770 posts)I like it. I usually like to get their right when it's my time, and leave right away. Otherwise, I'll start sweating and get all panicky.
My long-term relationships have been with extroverts who understand that I might just disappear at any moment at a party, in a large store, etc. I'm fairly comfortable one-on-one, especially if at home, in my car, etc.
