Just discovered this forum, alone in red N Texas

whole family are trumpers so I really am a loner, hehe.
Actually I have been alone since 2015 but when trump came on the scene I really became a loner, retired last August and made it through the pandemic alone too.
I am ok with it though except would like to do things with someone with the same political views and outlook on life for a change....

Similar story. My small family are christofascists and I retired 5 years ago—living alone in a private home, a year of lockdown, using cannabis for a chronically fracked back, don’t get out much.

Also, I was born in the Panhandle and lived in Duncanville during HS in the ‘70s.

I surround myself with fellow democrats. My son, wife, in-laws and close friends are all democrats. My neighbor is a racist republican who only visits far-right sites. Even on "neutral" sites like nextdoor racist republicans comment. One idiot even posted trash about 5G causing cancer.

I'd like to move to Colorado just to get away from all these racist republicans here in Fort Worth. But can't give up on family.
