An update in hopes that it will give others hope.

We did make it to Tucson AZ. We were able to get in to a program through the VA to ge housing and with an address it is easier to get thing done and back on our own two feet.

It took us a while, but we can see a little light. I am going through PTSD therapy. People keep saying that I should have had a breakdown by now. I tell them I am a hard headed liberal!

Right now many are out there that sees no light. I know that feeling. But please hang in there! The light will come back, slow as it seem (to the point hat it feels like all the light went out of the world), it will be back!

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
