Today is my friend's graveside service

This is going to be hard. Known her since 7th grade homeroom 1963, all through high school. I moved away, we lost touch, but I moved back to home town in 2011 to help my mom. We reconnected, and picked up with no problem. We disagreed about politics and religion, but we avoided those issues. She got the pancreatic cancer diagnosis last summer, just out of the blue. Only one symptom: stomach and side pains one day, and husband took her to emergency. She didn't smoke or drink but was overweight.
My mom passed away 11 days before my friend, but at 100 yrs old, it was a blessing. This however just sucks in so many ways!

my high school best friend. We, also, lost touch for a time. Picked back up as if it never happened. No friend like an old friend. Take care of yourself

Lost my wife to pancreatic in 2015. Her flower beds protest my lack of skill but many memories in the flowers.

One more hug
