Another family member passed

Just a little over a month since Grandpa passed and we just had another passing in the family. This time it was my Grandpa's brother in law who went beyond.

I hope Grandma is able to get through this, having lost Grandpa and now her eldest brother.

Grandma is able to manage this latest loss. It's so sad to see elder family members pass. My Dad's the last sibling of nine. Youngest and the last one living.

Best thoughts to you and yours in the days to come. I'm sorry you're facing yet another bereavement.

5. "For the person at this celebration who will be the next to be called home to the Lord"

That was one of the intentions at the Funeral Mass yesterday.

I hope whoever that person is, young or old, that it's several years away yet at the least. I don't want to have to go to any more funerals this year.
