I don't think that will change. The Almanac calls for a drier winter and next year.

Just hoping for less forest fires than usual under that scenario!

I think there will be less luck collecting fungi and wild ferns for food as the climate changes. I have been seeing the effects of warmer and drier seasons for some time, and the stress it put on the evergreens leading to diseases.

It's been chilly here all week, dropping into the twenties at night on the hillsides.
