I never thought I would see water there. It might be worth driving over there to get a shot of it. I'll be about sixty miles away tonight at Trona Pinnacles.

Damn drought!

I do find myself hoping maybe we’re seeing the climate changing in a beneficial way (bringing a dried-up lake back to life), but I’m not declaring victory on this.

It's been a kind of symbol of the destruction of wilderness by "civilization."

It's nice to see, but it's temporary, at least for now.

Well, I can dream, can’t I?

I always wished that the water could somehow come back. Maybe it won't all get drained into LA this time.

Great about the lake, but I am seeing more and more of these type of generic vids.

The DWP tried to make a park like attraction out of it, with walking trails and a few pieces of memorabilia. It wasn't very appealing.
