Lucky until the end of July, now it's way too hot and no rain for weeks. Heavy forests here so fire would be catastrophic.
No rain here for weeks, either, & none forecast for the next 10 days of 100+ F temps.
I can't do those triple digit temps anymore so I relocated. But it's getting too hot here too, and drier than it should be too. Went for a drive today and all the corn fields are so dry that the corn has folded up its leaves to keep the sun off the ears, lots of vegetation has drooped their leaves to keep from over exposure to the sun. It's getting a little tense around here lately.
