(46,810 posts)It's another of the many examples of "truth by accusation."
Better term, even using the name of the Moon, "lunacy."

As to Noory, he's a right-wing kook as well as being obsessed with his fairy tales.

How'd they get to the moon to do the documentary?
How'd they get back?
What was it about?
Have they discovered awkward prepositional phrases yet?

(11,047 posts)Good description, but the "polar flip of the moon" is just ordinary stupidity. The moon appears to do a 180-degree flip from moonrise to moonset, relative to our horizon, but of course it's really the Earth that's spun 180 degrees. If you hold up your left hand on one side with your thumb pointing behind you, when you look directly at it your thumb points to the left. If you then bring it over your head to the right side and look directly at it, your thumb is pointing to the right. But of course it's still pointing in the same actual direction; it's your head and eyes that have turned.
