Disneyland says unvaccinated kids not welcome amid measles outbreak
Park officials issued the warning on Wednesday after state health officials said newborns, who cannot be vaccinated because they are under six months of age, should be kept away from the resort.
The recommendations fuelled a backlash against an anti-vaccination movement facing blame for the outbreak, which has infected at least 70 people in recent weeks, most in California.
Gil Chavez of the California Department of Public Health urged the states unvaccinated residents to get inoculated to control the diseases spread. This is not a trivial illness, she said.

(12,262 posts)I suspect that parents who are stupid enough not to get their kids vaccinated will be stupid enough to ignore this directive. Of course the outcome will be that their kids get sick and continue spreading the disease.

(26,549 posts)or some other homeopathic bullshit. So clearly it's no threat. Sure, I won't trust my doctor on vaccines, but a random website says what I want to be true, so it must be true.
