You'll be attacked as an evil heartless religious bigot if you ask questions like, "would the world be better off if the church had spent its money on helping people rather than constructing ornate, lavish, ultra-expensive buildings and gold-plated everything?"

That seems to be the mindset of cable news. Jump on the big shiny object and ignore all the rest. I mean how much detail do you need about a building that has burned down?

Not much in comparison. Still, I would be sad to see it burn down. Everytime I revisit the old homestead I like to walk by and shake my fist at it like that old man.
