(5,376 posts)Not too long ago, the scales fell off my Southern Baptist eyes and I am now an atheist. I'm also an Atheist Experience junkie, can't seem to stop watching it. Really enjoyed the episode with Shelley and Matt awhile back. This video made my day! Can't describe what a blessing AE has proved to be on my life's journey. Hope it has been to you, as well.
Here's to Shelley--a true angel!
Cheers.

(63,269 posts)I am slowly crawling my way backward. I am back to year 2012 so far.
Really wish Jeff Dee and Martin (can't remember the last name right now) were still there.
I am a really big Tracey Harris fan - she seems to be grounded in real day-to-day life more than any other.

(5,376 posts)I especially like Jeff--he never held back when taking on the "you're hell-bound" theists. They really got him fired up. "How dare you!" was his fierce comeback. Matt can go there, too, and Tracy has some "beast moments" as they're called. All in all, the whole crew has been a big help to me as I fully embrace atheism. Long may they roar!
Best.

(63,269 posts)Way back Tracy did a series on how the multi-gods of early man slowly merged into the one god beats all.
I had long been an atheist before then, but that answered some questions that really bugged me.
Just wanted to post that some time. It was an eye opener for me.
