was a Palestinian Arab I went to high school with. The rest of us had just furtively mumbled in the corners that we didn't believe a word of it Southern Baptist retribution not being pleasant.

Since then, I've met fellow atheists from all over the planet.

So we're everywhere. If there is a preposterous religious story the power structure uses to enforce order, there will always be people who see straight through it.

And it's not just the middle east, religionists in this country are constantly trying to turn back the clock on women's and lgbt rights. And don't even get me started on hate crimes ...

That's a meme pushed by the non-secular crowd to make us shut up. The "your white, and so is atheism" is not true, offensive, harmful, and actually kinda racist. Yea, most of the big names have been white men, but who focuses the lens on them?

Also you should switch around the subject line, if it's about an article the article name should be the subject.
