She's upset that he put it on his truck and finds the sentiment offensive. She appears to attribute
the sentence to the atheist AND does not seem to realize that it's a verse from the Bible.

So mindboggling--she finds it upsetting that such views are NOW being publically expressed!!
But the verse/sentence has been in the Bible for 2000 years!!

(I'm ignoring the fact that there was no Bible for 400 or so years after the death of Jesus.)

It was like a short version of the bible with certain scenes put into pictures or drawings. Like when the wolf (or was it a bear)was sent to maul kids because they were mocking an old man.

Sorry, my bible keeps slipping further and further away from my functioning brain.

I was looking for it at our Barnes and Noble a few years ago (back when we had bookstores). They had it shelved in the children's section!
