I'm tired of people's reaction when they learn I'm an atheist, so I'll no longer be an atheist.

From now on I'm going to call myself a "godless heathen". At least then I will feel like I've earned their shock and dismay.

I've seldom noticed much reaction at all from mentioning I'm an atheist.

Of course you'd have to put up with Socialist monstrosities like a public health system but it's not too bad.

I've worked with some pretty sharp lawyers in Houston over the last 20 years and most are liberal and atheist themselves. It's almost a given.

However, I'm about to "retire" from this job and we're moving south to a much more rural locale. I'm sure the contrast is going to be ... striking.
