Anyone who's heard God voice should seek help.

Why do people pray? Guess what your God doesn't give a shit. On a serious note, he doesn't exist.

If a theist prays for a job he/she applied for and get it. In their opinion God was responsible. If he/she doesn't get it's all part of God's plan.

I tell they should also say "Thank god it DID destroy your neighbor's house."

If "he" gets the credit then "he" gets the blame.

Even if there is such a thing as god, he/she/it certainly is not the sick sadistic bastard of the Bible.

That was my rebuttal to my fundy-praying-for-pants -to-buy SIL. Somehow I just don't understand how it all works, yet she was unable to explain it. Amusing in a nauseating kind of way.

Now that we've destroyed state mental health facilities, we elect them to high office.

Then the people who voted for them are surprised when the country falls apart and keeps blaming the people who ran it successfully until they went out of power in 1969. You'd think nearly 50 years of conservative fuckups would tell them something, but no, they believe in fuckups almost as much as they believe in sky daddy.

It's when it's a two way conversation that there's a problem. Like your OP says, Anyone who hears gods voice should seek help.

isn't that what Gabriel is for?

Besides for either of them to have a voice, don't they need lungs and a larynx and a tongue and..... y'know, air ....

or is it radio.... (still need air)

9. how about these idiots - Copeland and Duplantis

can't remember if this was posted here or not.

The way Duplantis just casually talks about his conversation with God is just insane. He expects - no, he KNOWS - that the gullible will believe this.

I've heard voices in my head after taking certain prescription drugs, but I had the sense to know that it was the drugs talking and not God. These guys, though, I find this totally despicable.
