Religion in the Comics - 45

Last edited Sat Dec 5, 2015, 10:54 PM - Edit history (1)

Here's a story from the #5 issue of Adventures into Darkness, which was actually the first issue of this title, published in 1952.

What's the point of having God talk to you if you ignore him? Here the young Mr. Drury is warned by his creator to be careful, so he goes to his uncle for advice. The Vicar laughs at him and calls his dream silly. And what's up with having an old man dig graves?

Seems like just arushed ghost story, could work if they extended it, but just feels rushed here. No time for any kind of development.
