Would it be wrong for me to create a new account named "SockPuppet"?

Would that be wrong?

Too subtle?

How about, SockPuppet42 (since I have all the answers to life, the universe and everything)

1. The only official statements that have been discerned from answers in the AtA forum...

seem to be that unless one is using a sock to get around a 5-hide temporary ban, there isn't an issue. But I don't feel like pushing it.

2. Rules may have changed,

but around 2006 I created my current account because I was tired of the username I had since 2003. Admin contacted me stating that there is only one account allowed per person and that one of my accounts had to be deleted. They were very cool about it, but I wouldn't want to push the limits. I think the use of sock puppets on a discussion board such as this is a dishonest tactic, anyway.
