(NOTE: Posted in the Atheists & Agnostics Group. Side effects of prolonged reading by devout religious believers may include moderate to severe outrage, apoplexy, stroke, and/or sudden death. Our scientists are still figuring out whether sudden death is a "moderate" or "severe" side effect.)This one pretty much ticks all the boses. Jesus...Bible...Obama. And Nazism, whose fellow-travelers seem to include "democracy." Looks like they got some real fine cars to sell, too...

There is a Ford Dealer in Mojave, CA that has a similar sort of history. They made news back several years ago with some pretty absurd radio ads and their billboards and dealer signage was pretty awful. You kind of get the feeling from these types that if you don't feel the same way about god as they do, you aren't welcome on their lot.
(The owner of the dealership recanted the most famous radio spot, but only after wide internet outrage)

(9,356 posts)I guess the message is both the Repubs and Dems are Obama's lapdogs.
But as PP says, the whole thing is so eye-shatteringly awful that it's hard to figure out the message(s).

I wonder how much he paid to have that monstrosity created?
He probably thinks everyone slowing down to take a picture of it is impressed.

I love it when a business wears their stupidity on their sleeve, it makes them easy to avoid.

Anyone know the name of the car lot?

(9,356 posts)Found the pic while searching on the term "jesus used car lot." Just out of curiosity. Heh...
That pic popped up in Google. Then I clicked "Visit Page" and found it hosted on a Colorado blog about mountain biking. The blogger posted the pic and mentioned Arvada, along with the term "Tea Party nut," IIRC. And a mention that he wouldn't buy a car there, either. So I got the impression it was just a random pic he shot while out riding.

(12,232 posts)I did a Google search but found nothing pertaining to the sign.
Weird, but it's not as if the car lot owner is the only wacko out there.
