something her boyfriend was exempted from since he's not the one with the pregnancy.

Awful story. The worst part is that it's not terribly unusual, although young girls are usually dead when they're put into those shallow graves.

The motive could the social future of the boy in a traditionalistic society

An extreme form of contraception by people with primitive social values?

(Religion playing an indirect role as helping set these social values)
