about being an atheist in the Southern US....
Finally got around to watching a CBS Sunday Morning program from about a month ago and Mo Rocca had a segment on Openly Secular which featured the "Godless in Dixie" blogger Neil Carter. Not a negative segment at all, which was a little surprising.
Neil has a space on Patheos and Facebook. He's a good writer, and he's about to go "on tour" thru Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, and California. Do a little networking?

(2,433 posts)and happy to report that things are looking up. I belong to a local atheist/secular/rationalist/ Meetup Group that is growing ballistically. I will definitely see Neil. Thanks for posting.
