a universe of galaxies

ive been using a remote telescope (telescope.live) to download data for astrophotography that i can then process however i choose. I used data from an area of the sky i knew to be rich in galaxies and after processing them i used a technique called plate solving to label the galaxies in the photo. the tiny pinpoint galaxies are all on the order of 300 million light years away,the large galaxies are in the area of 20 million light years away

When you zoom in, the text appears to be the names of known galaxies or other things that are out there.

4. yes. the green text is the catalog numbers for the galaxies

I look at these photos and I’m lost for a word that expresses wonderment, excitement and lack of knowledge for such a vast universe. Humans have always had an exploration gene in our DNA but I’m not sure about finding it all out there!
