Hope Smiles From the Threshold of the Year to Come

Whispering,

"It will be happier."

-Alfred Tennyson

Happy New Year! Do you have a new practice you would like to begin?

I have two. One easy one and one that is for me, more challenging.

I want to regain my daily yoga practice. Everything flows from that. My eating becomes more conscious, I'm not a grumpass out in the world. All good. All pleasure. Just a question of making it a priority.

What is not pleasurable for me is going out in the world with an ask. And I have an ask for my town. I want to start a bag ban.
Everyday doing something toward that goal.
I may not succeed, but if I get one less person to eschew one plastic bag, one time I will have made a difference.

Together we can make this the best year ever!

“Another world is not only possible, she is on her way. On a quiet day, I can hear her breathing.”
-Arundhati Roy
