Is this group a legitimate Sufi practice?

My brother and SIL are members and have been since 1999. Their leader, Sidi, matched them for marriage.

I've found information online that indicates that this isn't Sufiism as much as Islamic Scientology. In other words, the money goes upward like a Ponzi Scheme to their leader(s) and that money is not accounted for.

I've supported my brother since Day One because he seemed to sincerely embrace the tenets of his choice of God, truth, etc. (I'm ethical culture/humanist myself).

I'm asking you because I just want more information if you have it. I don't intend to confront my brother and his wife as they seem content with their lifestyle. They haven't estranged themselves from me because I'm not Sufi. I don't ask how they spend their money.

I find it interesting that the woman who married them has left this movement herself.

Here are the websites that raised my interest:

Thanks in advance. Tell me anything you know about this particular brand of Sufi Islam, their leaders Sidi Muhammed and/or Robert Ibrahim/Jaffe and/or the Jaffe Institute which is now closed.
