I have been thinking about checking it out. I would love to catch a first season marathon.

(3,073 posts)What I like is that it chronicles the stories and lives of a few different (4 or 5) American couples in various levels of religiousness which helps the audience understand that like all religions, people observe in their own personal way. It presents an opportunity for greater understanding I think overall. I'm not big reality show fan however so it's not something I find especially fascinating but I'm happy that it is on the air and hope it reaches a big audience...

(29,047 posts)The only reality show I am really familiar with is Survivor. I have watched several seasons, and I never felt it was staged, just edited.

(22,144 posts)Level varies, but it is a common practice. This one has that feel to it as well.
On Survivor, purportedly some of the interviews or other solo scenes are amped up/coached/reshot

(2,261 posts)Now I have more curiosity than ever.
I don't know when it airs, if it still airs, what time Eastern, nor even if I get that cable channel.
I have a very small taste for TV, MSNBC, (Rachel or Chris Hayes) C-Span, and some real life and fictional mystery/police shows on PBS or two other channels. Otherwise, the TV is off, and the computer is on.
