Elsewhere, the Talmud indicates that the ancient rabbis regarded a fetus as part of its mother throughout the pregnancy, dependent fully on her for its life a view that echoes the position that women should be free to make decisions concerning their own bodies.

(54,150 posts)Nowhere in Judaism does it say non-Jews must keep kosher or otherwise observe our customs, traditions, or laws. These are the laws of our people, not all people.
Most Christian's I know personally feel similarly about their religious views, but the right-wing Christians feel it's their obligation to force their views on non-Christians.
And then get offended when we object to the insulting disrespect....
