1. I've realized there are 2 sides, good or evil

Teach both sides? I have rant bubbling in me from that. But as they gain permission or aquiescence to do that I have a reactionary response.

Ok. Let's be clearer about both sides. Rather than a comprehensive or cohesive summary, teach about the alternate screwball, hateful, ignorant blather and call it that. And label it as evil, bad, inhumane.
That might help some not fall prey to the hate. Some might learn that hate is not the way.

But overall there's one side. History is written by the victors.
How are they presuming to rewrite it?
Big warning sign that they're able to.

2. I agree with you...I think. LOL!

Personally, I see the value in teaching the philosophy and rationale of hate groups, but it has to be done with very intelligent people. I feel this way because when it is taught, part of that teaching is mapping out how it got the way it did. I so often hear, "how can someone think like that?!" Well, if it the info is taught, we can also teach how the info is corrupted, perverted, and rationalized, and more importantly, how to break the cycle with further education.
