Is there simply a Christian Liberal group on DU3?

["This is a group, not a forum. Groups often serve as safe havens for members who share similar interests and viewpoints. Individuals who post messages contrary to a particular group's stated purpose can be excluded from posting in that group."]

This doesn't appear to be it...at least "safe haven" doesn't come to mind.

Any volunteers?

(I'd offer, but I'm already co-host in the Photography Group, and am not sure if you can be a host in more than one.)

be a host in more than one group.

I'm a host in the Missouri group. If you'd like to apply to host this group I'd be glad to help as a co-host.

I think we need at least one, to keep it from deteriorating into, well, the likes of another group many of us avoid. I'm hoping this continues to be a safe haven.

If a host is still needed I'd be glad to help out. The Missouri group isn't exactly hopping right now and won't be for a couple of months.

I try my best to be fair and to allow people to say what they want, whether I like the message or not. The only time I'd lock a thread is if it's spam, if it's an extremely negative message (just overall nasty, calling out posters, etc), or if it becomes a flamewar. Everything else is good to go, unless someone really has a problem.

(Just adding that the request has been made.)

but if I do I'll contact you asap. Otherwise, you can also attempt to contact and tell the admins that we'll both assist with the group. Maybe if they hear from more than one person they'll make a decision quickly.
