Awesome herbal ointment I found

It's called Healin Hollers healing salve and I found it at a local whole foods store. My son is allergic to bug bites and gets these nasty little infections on his skin in the summer. I got some of this salve for him and it's amazing how much better his sores have gotten since using it.

The ingredients are Comfrey, Plantain, Goldenseal, Myrrh, Echinacea,Eucalyptus, Olive Oil,
Beeswax, Vitamin E

I've been looking into herbalism a lot lately and trying to lead a healthier lifestyle with alternative healing methods. I've also been hearing a lot about curcumin lately and was wondering if you guys have any insight to it. Thanks and have a wonderful day!!!

The plantain is for the poison plants (oak, ivy, sumac), comfrey to speed healing, goldenseal and myrhh for the anti microbial action, echinacea for skin, I don't know eucalyptus except for nasal passage cleansing,; and the rest is for binding. I'd probably leave out the e and use a dash of tea tree oil.

Thanks for the info, I'll check our health food store.

It's very good for the skin, both topically & internally.

I agree, this sounds like Super Salve!

I didn't think of that part. I use calendula for that. I use a calendula/tea tree salve from Oregon Wild Harvest which is the most potent healing salve I have ever used. It's great for deep wounds, diabetic wounds and everything else that I have treated.
