did anyone feel a shift Friday into Saturday?
Several things shifted overnight, all at once, for me:
1. I strained my right elbow several weeks ago while preparing an overgrown area of my garden for planting. I've been babying the elbow for weeks, but planting, weeding, mowing, lifting, everything aggravated it and kept it from fully healing. And somehow anytime I bumped into anything or anyone bumped into me, that elbow got whacked.
I postponed finishing off the garden as long as I could, but finally broke down on Friday and got the last of the soil prepared for planting. And while getting heavier stuff out of the cart at the supermarket cart, I managed to twist it. So by Friday afternoon, it was really painful. I napped in the sun, hoping to bake some of the tendonitis and joint pain out of it, before running around mowing before the next round of monsoons.
By Friday night it was really, really hurting.
2. A couple months ago, my brake lights came on, plus a couple other things came up with my car. All that was fixed, until 10 days ago when my brake lights came on again. My appointment was for Friday afternoon.
3. I wrote in here how it looked like I was done at work, with everybody scheduled for training on the info system upgrade except 3 of us.
Well, Friday afternoon, I took my car in. Turns out there was just an air bubble in the line left over from when they fixed the brakes. 5 MINUTES: NO CHARGE!
Then I went food shopping. There I saw the wonderful young woman who is so nice and who has sent me in one direction or another at critical junctures. I think she may be an angel, seriously. She had told me before about a relative of hers who sold her house last year, without even putting a sign in the yard. She couldn't remember the name of the realtor or last name of the relative. I haven't seen her there in so long I began to wonder if she still worked there. She does. She remembered the realtor, and told me they're still hiring at the supermarket. People will always need food, she said. A WAY FORWARD. HUGE RELIEF.
Saturday, I woke up for the first time in many, many weeks feeling rested. And then I realized, my elbow doesn't hurt any more! I expected after Friday's re-injuries and severe pain to have it stiff and achy. Instead, other than a bruise where I had banged it again..OVERNIGHT, PAIN GONE!
And then I went to work on Saturday afternoon. Asked a non-descript question about the info system training. It turns out that half or more of the names I thought were listed for training were actually listed for days off. Suddenly, I just DON'T CARE ANY MORE.

(29,135 posts)I'm old. It's time to have more in my life. And Venus Retrograde not withstanding, the planets and the world are moving us all away from the limitations of the past. I can move, too.
RE: personal health irritations, I finally bought some homeopathic stuff for an irritating dry throat thing I've been living with, just to see if it would help. It did!

at the same time some dental issues worsened.
Due to a storm, etc. I missed a possible chance encounter, so I am wondering about synchronicities or divine intervention...very strange indeed, the weekend, filled with more hope than usual, and more fear, but there is movement.

I can't put my finger on it because so much is happening with the Venus Rx and the eclipse tomorrow, all that tsquare that was outputting to those Gemini planets, all seemed like such a Rx thing.
Glad you have some relief.

(8,423 posts)when you're baffled , Mr. Starself!

(3,794 posts)"Is this Mr. Stanself?"
I said, "Speaking..."
The reason I am baffled is when all of these energies intertwine and ebb and flow, one can guess, or, one can
wait until in unfolds (we are hours from a Lunar Eclipse) and then try to put some intelligent answer together.
I'm too stupid to guess, I'd have too many things to remember. lol.
Yes, I'm very Aquarian too.

(8,423 posts)ROFL!... Yes, time and distance and sleeping on it, always seems to bring more answers.
The lady probably forgot to put her glasses on, and then again, you got to be "Stan" for the hour!
I bet you have a lot of stories about the calls you must get.

(3,794 posts)go forward for 7 months and backwards for 5, unless you're like that guy who wrote in and thinks that we're actually so
stupid that we really think that they fire their GREAT BIG afterburners, and grind to a halt, in a vaccuum, and go precisely backwards
only to do it again in the other direction 5 months later.
These points are called planetary "stations"

(21,046 posts)I think I learned about that in junior high? Eighth grade, I was twelve years old? Drew a beautiful diagram of the phases of the moon with respect to the earth.
These yahoos don't know why the moon goes thru phases or why it falls behind the sun.

(3,794 posts)I see NO reason people should believe it. When they start thinking of planets pulling you this way and that way, it makes no sense.
However, when you realize that we're in (and always have been) a new quantum reality, we see that physical space and time
have no more place in our vernacular. Then, it all starts making sense. Newton's world is dead and Einstein's is not far behind.
When anti-astrologers see Cosmo magazine and daily horrorscope next to the funny pages, what are they to think? They don't know they have a Moon and other planets.
It truly is surprising that just about all the great minds in history accepted astrology openly. That says a log.

(21,046 posts)Since we know that the planets LOOK like they are looping backwards but not really, which appearance has astrological significance.
And yes, I know Isaac Newton was into alchemy.

(6,811 posts)disciplines are remarkably self-functioning within their sphere and the really old ones need little in the way of new jargon to talk about what they already deal with. what you are asking is the equivalent of rewriting legal common law history with modern human resources vocabulary. they are both rather self-sufficient disciplines with no real need for the newer to bleed its modern terminology into the older. it yields no net improvement.

(2,649 posts)To the point that I feel like all my blood has been drained out.
Does that count?
Oh, and about a week ago, I fell and my shoulder popped out of joint and then popped right back in. It has been pretty sore ever since, but Tuesday night my mom got "stuck" in the tub and I had to lift her out. She only weighs about 98 pounds, but ever since my shoulder has been in a lot of pain and my left arm is pretty much useless.
Don't know what that's all about, but I do so wish it would heal up already.

(29,135 posts)Bach's makes a good version. Very helpful.

I also recommend Bach's Wild Rose essence. That has helped me address those feelings of hopelessness lately.

(13,586 posts)I will look into those. How is it best to use them?

(29,135 posts)I've also gotten great results putting four drops or so in a glass of hot water and sipping over a period of an hour or so. Some people like to put them in water bottles for a night, then drink out of them all day.
Least effective: bathwater. The balancing effect goes away after I get out of the tub.

(6,445 posts)to read that things got a bit better for you! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For the past year things have been changing for the better for me. I am giving myself permission to live without the demand of enormous production. The only new insight I had over the last few days is that I am really a neurotic work-a-holic and that even though I have been gradually slowing down, I have not been changing the part of me that demands everything to be just so all the time. The part of me that needs the kitchen sink always clean before I can think. The part of me that needs a clean floor before I can sit down and rest. Some of this is fine- I do live on a farm and it would be a pigsty in moments if I did not try to have one small 800 ft of clean mud/dust/dander-free tidy space. But I don't need to be so fussy about it.
That was my big realization, that I have to work on changing this part of my personality.
I am sorry for everyone who is so tired- you all have my sympathy!

(14,881 posts)Or at least, that's the latest rumor. So some of my fears are allayed.
I'm no longer listening to the rumors. I think the break through for me started with the blow up with my sister. All of the screaming abuse she had heaped on me over the years blew right back at her when I finally screamed at her. I gave her back all of her rage, which I guess has been stuck inside me for decades.
That unblocked mess enabled some energy to start flowing again. My elbow was a tad sore yesterday. This morning coming in from the barn in the pouring rain, I stopped to weed. I stayed out for an hour, weeding and then digging up the rogue valerian, angelica and johnny jump-ups that have been taking over the perennial garden. Then replanted them on Algiers' grave. Valerian and angelica grow to very large, dramatic plants, which now will provide a backdrop against the woods. In front, some summer bulbs I planted are coming in, and there are masses of the yellow and purple johnny jump-ups. I will add additional bulbs in the fall. Daffodils, crocuses, etc. to greet him in the spring.
I came in ice-cold and drenched. Hot shower, bills paid and checkbook balanced, lunch and then a 2 hour snooze with electric blankie and 2 dogs to cuddle, and new agie music on the radio. And my elbow feels fine.
