Count me in.

This probably isn't the best place for this, but would it be too terrible of me to point out that I too am a published author, with two books on Amazon --

How to Cure a Cold http://amzn.to/v2T8GP and

How to Remove Warts, Moles and Skin Tags http://amzn.to/txmUQj

(Wish I knew how to turn Amazon's html that shows a clickable cover into whatever DU requires for that.)

I will add your books to my Christmas list. Mr Howler and I always buy books with our Holiday loot after the 25th so this is very timely.
We could also do an official thread on your books. They look very informative.

Remember Me You should also post these on the ASAH shopping thread.

A published childrens Author!
I'm definitly getting your book this year for Christmas! "Coyote Bat" I LOVE IT!!!!!

I'm thinkin maybe we should have a sorta book club here on ASAH for all our published Authors.
I mean we could read a book Monthly, bi monthly or when ever. Theres also Ms Carringan??? OGR's friend that did the Tarot card readings a while back. And alot of these subjects are Meta Spiritual too.

What are the age ranges involved? I wonder if I could get it by Christmas (without extra charges, that is)?

I know what you mean about the "introvert" part. I'm a Pisces, and it just kills me to have my name out there, and yet I know I have to get over that. (shudder)

I would say ( middle-grade) ages are 9-14, but could be general audience. Amazon's pretty quick sometimes! I believe it is also available in a few places as an e-book, such as http://www.diesel-ebooks.com, but of course holding a book in your hands is always better.

We'll have another thread as well once the holidays are over. (Skinner has already given us permission to do this.)

But after seeing so many people with books, I think we ought to do at least a Lounge thread for all "published authors."

I don't in any way mean to stereotype, but the one about colds seems like something my very Virgoan husband would think would be the perfect gift. Giving that as a gift would mean that he cared about the person.

Why don't you start the thread that you mentioned?

If everybody really enjoys reading and discussing this book that we would turn it into an ASAH book club.
I mean your books are on Herbs and their medicinal uses. I think alot of other folks here would be interested in learning about that.
Having all the authors here is a wonderful resource that we havent tapped yet. I mean if you really think about it It really is Manna from heaven.

And the list of books over on the Marketplace thread all look VERY interesting and fun to explore.
Kimmers book Coyote,Bat looks like "Animal medicine" though I havent got my copy yet but I will have it in a couple of weeks along with yours and the books listed on the market thread.

I'm kinda hopeing that this will turn into a really fun and interesting book club here on Asah.

35. Yes, and there's not much to MOVE when you move
Fri Dec 16, 2011, 02:16 PM
Dec 2011

I moved a few months ago and this confirmed bookaholic went into fast and firm recovery with that experience, I'll tell you. not only was it costly to move all that, but it was physically (at my age and conditin) PAINFUL. Books and paper weigh a LOT, as I'm sure most people know.

As a result, I am in the process of liquidating most of the rest of my library (a number of metaphysical books), and there just aren't that many books I want to own in hardcopy from here out. THIS from someone who NEVER thought I could "live" without my books.

I currently have a NOOK, but I might have to get one of the basic Kindles to read this. (I'd already been thinking about buying the basic Kindle anyway for things like this.)

I can't wait to get my copy, but because of my allergies, it will have to be a non-paper version.

Count me in, Howler, after the Kindle version is available.
