For those of you who havent read the ASAH group before....
This is a really amazing, supportive group that has a lot of fun. I hope that you will join in!

Anyway, I know this one:

(46,179 posts)Before ASAH, we had "The Meeting Room," which was my favorite place at DU in my early years.
When our discussions were regularly disrupted by attacks from "skeptics," we created ASAH, and they created a "skeptics" group. I still love to stop in and read, but I quit posting regularly. I'm not well-versed on astrology, and really can't add anything to those discussions. There were fewer and fewer posts dealing with the broad range of spiritual topics we'd previously discussed, and I kind of drifted away, for the most part.
That, and my life changed. I spend more time struggling with those changes, and less time nurturing my spirit, which is a sad thing.
I hope ASAH thrives here on DU3.

(31,170 posts)It's an area of my life I really need to make a priority, and I plan to make use of the group much more. Everyone is so supportive.

The Compassion Group?

(31,170 posts)I'm sort of attached to the ASAH acronym though, even if I do transpose the A&H almost every time i type it!

(1,924 posts)I can't keep up with all the changes. I had a star in old DU, thanks to some generous donor. Without that star, I couldn't participate in this group.
I don't know if that old star is still working, but I seem to be able to post here. Will that go away? Will I have to pay $40 a year to participate here?
Thanks, ya'll. And many thanks to whoever donated that star.

(3,747 posts)Yes, I believe that you will be able to post to ASAH even without a star, which I think is lovely as it broadens the discussion.

(1,924 posts)But I still have a while to go on the star someone so kindly gave me.
I do think they're asking too much money...

(31,170 posts)But these things have a way of working themselves out. I am glad that you have a way to go on your star. You can even host in groups without a star, if my info is correct. So hopefully too much wont change if it goes away.
