Ericka - In the Company of Cards - Reading on Venezualans deported (2nd segment a chat with Lena later)-Loose Txcript
?feature=sharedThis segment ends at 16:40.
Ericka - "For entertainment purposes only."
She reads a bit differently, states she is using the Tower card for the courts and says she wants to know how the courts will rule on the illegal deportations.
Cards:
Child - "Can be for something new. This is certainly something new. I mean something old, dusted off (very old law) to be new, which is this law from the 1700s... Will probably be used more in the future."
Star - Picks up Star & Tower "I can mirror these two. I just feel like the Star, which is the future, (taps Tower card),it's going to be kicked to the Supremes. The Supreme Court will make the ultimate decision here. Still, there has got to be a ruling by the lower judge."
***COFFIN*** "When the card I'm looking for (Tower) in the center, whatever card is in the center is really important."
Clarifiers on Coffin:
Birds - "Conversation, talking. Meeting. Obviously, there is a lot of talk about this, both in and outside of legal circles. I even think that there was some conversation about some of these Venezualens being, possibly, children. And, I think with the coffin, this is the judge saying 'You can't do this.' She picks up crossroads card and says, "So, you know, we have to go a different way here. Of course, the 'different way' for tfg will be that he will kick it to the Supreme Court. But, I think this judge in this hearing today is going to say 'You can't do this.'"
Young Woman
Crossroads
"This coffin is confusing because coffin can be endings, but it can also be transformation. So we have the court (Tower) & Stork and the Stork is about positive change."
She holds up Child & Stork cards & says she can look at them together. A positive ruling looks likely, but for which side?"
Tower, which is the court
Clarifiers:
Clouds "I think that this jduge is saying, 'I don't know, can he do this?' This is the card for confusion. Tfg is the king of obfuscation and sort of fast talking and garbelygook. But, you know, what does the law actually say? Is the law on 47s side? Again, remember, he is arguing that they are a gang -- drug dealing gang members. Apparently, that is not necessarily true." She sets the Bear card down without talking about it.
Letter
Bear
Stork
Clarifiers:
Scale "Again, Stork is positive change. Scale is balance, and can be a legal card. Moon is reputation and the Dog is lawyers here. I'm going to say the court is going to hold him in contempt. Or hold the government in contempt. That's what I think, but this will be kicked to the Supreme Court because it seems that there is confusion about whether this law can be the grounds on which these people were deported."
"The point is: The judge had said 'don't do it,' and tfg did it. He believes what Robert's court told him, that he has unchecked power. So this will be one of many examples where if his power is checked, it will be an opportunity to see if this is one of those cases."
"But, specifically, since he was given such unchecked powers and specifically calling it an act of war, War Powers Act, having to do this because of their presence here constitutes an act of war. You know he is just the king of twisting wors."
Moon
Dog
Pulling clarifiers:
She states she will pull 6 cards and do the yes/no spread "Willt tfg's government be held in contempt for not turning the planes around?"
1st pair:
Key & House
Dog in the house of the Star
Tree in the house of the Crossroads ("again"

And a Key mirrors crossroads.
"Because he's using this law on the books, judge may not hold him in contempt and might say,'let's ask the supremes."
Key in house of house feels like tfg wins.
Lawyers arguing down the line in future.
Tree in house of crossroads will take awhile. Crossroad is about choices. Tree is very slow card, but I can mirror the key with crossroads. I'm at war with myself because judiciary seems to be one of our final bastions against tyranny. I really don't know. I don't know what this judge is going to do. Hes going to hold hearing today. That doesn't mean he renders a judgment, he might just hear both sides, and then take that under advisement and rule at later date."
"Will Venezualens be returned to USA?"
"See this is the card for not knowing: the Book (3rd card). There is a lot of arguing here. Supreme Court will have to decide this. This is a tactic that I'm sure 47 will use over and over and over again when it comes to deporting people. Whether or not he can make an argument based on that 1700s law will be pivotal. If he is allowed to use that law, watch a lot of people get deported and quick, fast, and in a hurry."
(She did not announce cards. 1st looked like a whip, 2nd one a woman's head.)
2nd half of reading deals with doctor deported.
She is posting a 2nd segment to You Tube later "in a few hours" she said, a chat with Lena!
Note: I've never seen the deck she is using, nor the style of reading. Fascinating! Enjoy!

(39,490 posts)She seemed to have a hard time getting an indication of where this case might go, and I did not know if it was the deck she was using or perhaps it was the case itself. Consequently, I did some reading on the topic of the Venezuelans because I had not read much about it until this point.
I think it's the case itself. Here's what I found out.
Tren de Aragua Is a dangerous gang, although some sources state that It is not as much of a problem as this administration is making it out to be.
The judge postponed today's hearing until Friday, and it's because lawyers are preparing their papers for Tuesday filing and a Wednesday hearing. The two groups opposing this are the ACLU and Democracy Forward. I don't know about Democracy Forward, however, I do know that the ACLU does not take a case unless there is something substantial to work with.
What happened is the judge decided to turn this into a class action suit later on Saturday night. When I read that I thought maybe Trump's action backfired on him.
What makes this a messy situation is that by using this war powers law he doesn't have to look at individual situations. The section about the book ,the third card, is what I'm talking about. This gang (as it's being called) is a criminal gang, but the problem becomes that they traffic in people, not necessarily drugs or anything else anymore. They switched to people, from what I can tell in my reading. So consequently some of these people could be the ones who shelled out a lot of money to get this gang to get them into America and they themselves, in fact, are not criminals, or at least drug criminals. They are just people who wanted to live in the United States.
In a previous ruling the Supreme Court said that they are not the gov't entity to investigate each person who was deported. Here is the paragraph to which I refer, which is from the last time they saw a case using this law:
Consequently, I think you can see why she was having difficulty trying to determine an outcome. Just too much up in the air at this point.

(39,490 posts)It sounds like this (deportation order being played with--int'l waters BS) could be instrumental in bringing trump down.
I saw a headline earlier that said Justice Roberts gave trump a "rebuke." I have said it many times on this forum that as soon as he goes rogue on the SC, it's over for him.
