myNoise.net - Online Noise Machines
I rediscovered this site in my links for binaural beats, and I can't believe I haven't played with it more!
Here's the link, and the first blurb from the home page:
Welcome to the convergence of serious audio engineering, creative sound design, and the scientific understanding of human hearing. The site you are about to enter is not just another of those soundscape websites but a serious tool oriented toward the needs of hearing professionals, sound therapists, and people interested in noise machines in general.
(I have it on "Tibetan Choir" at the moment, and the light blue slider controls the throat-singing sounds.)

(29,414 posts)I don't know why I didn't look at it further the first time. Maybe the site wasn't as good when I first discovered it. I do like how the sliders work and that you can set it to play in a random way (clicking the "Animate" button does that.)

(29,414 posts)Canyon Drones is great. Plus, if you use the "Animate!" button, it varies the sliders. You get a random mix that doesn't sounds as much like it's repeating

(14,881 posts)I saw the buttons rearrange when I tried it. But that was with the Tibetan Chant, so maybe it was just too subtle a difference.
Ah well, this thread will be all sewn up soon, I thnk...oh, wait a minute, that's krenaios...in another universe

(29,414 posts)and you'll notice a difference in the slider. Although, there is one chime slider that takes at least half a minute to make the chime. There's a cool spinning clockwork sound just before it chimes, too
Now don't get all humor-impaired on me, m'kay?

And I hope they make an Android app so I can use it on my media player. Or, I can make some mp3s from the settings and put those on loop.
