(12,145 posts)so I have been extremely busy with life's problems and have not been around an awful lot ... this is quite a mysterious post, Nutty - can you tell me what I'm missing? Or am I better off not knowing?

(6,811 posts)things should be picking up soon in terms of cantankerous purges. just like things are picking up all around us.

(340 posts)Personally, i am kind of sick of everyone here bolting off to facebook because of hurt feelings or something...some of us (me) REFUSE to join spybook because we prize what little privacy we might have left...
It would be more fun if everyone stayed and played and this page was as lively as it once was...

(6,811 posts)i stopped being all that involved two years ago because i expected things to get much worse. i was not wrong. i reserve it as a last resort myself.
i prefer wishadoo for an alternative positive space.

(3,747 posts)I guess I'm not so much into the groove that I even notice if I'm supposed to have hurt feelings. But I'm glad that those of us still here are still here. I should post some stuff, it is moon change.

(29,414 posts)I don't "use" it like most, yet I do visit with some of the people that left here, because fb is the only other place I can find them.
ASAH has been getting quieter for months now. I don't know why, as some of the ones on fb do still post here. I know my traffic here is split with the Interfaith group, another (sometimes) quiet one. I know that some of my own lack of visiting was due to visiting other sites specific to my (peculiar) spiritual interests. I come back here when the non-believers at one of those sites get unruly.
Not sure what it would take to gain interest around here again. Do we need more hosts, or suggest our group to newbies more often?

(14,881 posts)I've been participating more in DU and less in here for a number of reasons. I haven't bolted off anywhere...just been more introspective yet extrospective at the same time. Meaning, my spiritual self has become more internal than before, even while I'm playing out in the rest of DU more than before.
And it has been much quieter in here lately, but I think because while some people have left, others have simply turned more inward for a while.
There is a small coven offering open sabbat celebrations a couple hours from me. I have an urge to join them, but life has been scheduling me to work on or the day after every one. I had to work the day after Samhain. I'm scheduled to work on the Yule. Maybe I'll get to Beltane. I have a strong desire to celebrate with others in the flesh these days.
