3. My List

1. My sister (yes, she's above my daughter, but we are so incredibly close, even though I'd give my live for my awesome offspring.)
2. My daughter (she is always surprising me - she makes me proud! She is a restless gypsy like her mom and grandma. I love my beautiful dollface so much. She is freakin' incredible!)
3. My nephew (smartest human being I've ever met. He literally knows the answer to EVERYTHING - ask him a question, and this guy will give you the right answer. Went as John Lennon on Halloween. He was 10. I saw him being born, and I ADORE him!)
4. My rescue dog, Fizz - he is incredible, although a bit crazy (like his owner). I have to mention Jasmine, my Chow, who was my sidekick for 14 years. I will always love her, but Mr. Fizz helped me ease the pain.
5. I've had hard times, but at the same time, good times. I've never truly gone hungry, though I've been dirt poor. I don't deserve it, but someone or something is looking after me.
6. Creativity. I am artistic, and musical, though not impressively so.
7. My cheap duplex and awesome neighbors.
8. The ability to impress bosses even though I'm sometimes a total fuck up.
9. Health.
10. Breathing. You think this would be fundamental for most earth dwelling life forms, but it's not. Most of us do not know how to breathe. We hold our breath, or don't take enough breath into our lungs when we are stressed. Most of us don't even realize it, but breathing correctly is essential, so chalk one up to the Yogi's for this.

1. I can see (there is so much beauty, I feel as though it sustains me almost like food does).
2. I can walk (oh my goodness, I love being able to move and walk and go places so freely with my body!
3. I can work (I love most all of the things I get to do, on my farm and with other people).
4. I got to be a mother (this is a hard one as I do not feel so competent at this one, but there is an endless learning curve! and I love learning).
5. I have no food allergies - wow, I am about the only person that I know who can eat freely, without worry, although I do worry as I scrupulously avoid things made with of gmo's orr animal products from animals fed any gmo's.
6. In my youth I traveled a lot (and for this reason I have no desire to go anywhere, and thoroughly enjoy being right here).
7. I LOVE the internet, and having access to it in my rural area. What a difference this has made. I used to have to travel great distances to libraries to find information. I used to be far away from bookstores, now the books come in the mail and I get to browse online...oh my goodness what a difference the internet has made to rural people!
8. I can teach younger people things that I got to learn once, or figured out on my own. This is fabulous as I get to see the excitement in their eyes and now I get to consider how I might have effected my teachers in their lives. Very wonderful, actually.
9. I am surrounded by so many animals to love and care for, some like the dogs return the affection, others like the sheep could care less, but that is OK
10. I think that when I die some of the things that I have worked on will live on, and I hope that they will enrich other people's lives, this gives me a great feeling.
