are looking at our current shutdown situation? Is there a good ending in sight? I am becoming increasingly worried that we will face a crisis we cannot handle over the next few weeks. This is just a feeling. Any insights?

3. Nancy Sommer at Starlight News is absolutely amazing.

If you have the patience, go back and read earlier posts. You can skip the comments, not that they're not interesting, but it would be rather time-consuming to read them. She correctly sees things like the national mood of sadness after the Newtown shootings, Obama experiencing stress and difficulty at various times. I have learned to pay a lot of attention to dates she mentions as being times when things will happen.

While composing this post, I've gone back and read some of her previous entries. I want to especially recommend the one dated December 10, 2012, in which she lays out the general outline of Obama's second term.

I'm simply in the habit of typing in www.starlightnews.com which is her front page and will always have her current piece and its comments at the very top.

I will try to remember to do that here.

9. Alas, you are right that what she's saying isn't particularly hopeful.

She does not think, at this point, that Democrats will re-take the House in 2014. Eventually she will get into detail about what she sees astrologically, but that's what's most discouraging to me.

I just went to her blog and read the earliest posts there, from April and May 2008. Wow. Just wow.
