Nesting...

While puttering around cleaning the barn this morning, it dawned on me that my sudden increasing crankiness is due in large part to "nesting." All winter, those of us who have been "dreaming" our new lives to be born this spring, are likely to be entering the "nesting phase."

During this phase, we are preparing the birthing room and nursery for our creations, be they literal babies or new creative projects. We will also be extra wary and driving off potential predators. Birthing is a very vulnerable time, as are caretaking and protecting newborns.

As spring comes on and critters start coming out of their tucked away homes (I'm hearing the mice that live under the family room trying to scratch their way in as I type this), predators are also out and about more, looking around for an easy meal.

This puts creators in direct conflict with the Neptune "inclusive" energy out there.

Those who feel the sudden need to be extra "inclusive" and are members of our family or tribe, and who have a track record of respectfulness and caretaking, will be aware of the stage we are in and respectful of that. They also will be safe in approaching.

Those who have a track record of being predators or assholes are not likely to be welcomed into our lives. We who are creating our new lives have not only a right, but a responsibility, to drive off those who would eat or poison our newborn creations.

and ran me off a few months ago, a few days ago made a silent feint to see if I were at all interested in any level of inclusion. I told them they're dead to me and will stay that way. They have zero understanding of how completely they have offended and hurt me, and failed to listen when I begged to explain, to get =anyone= to listen. I have zero reason to wish to be with people who, however bright individually, when they become a group utterly fail to consider or to even do the most basic investigation of both sides of a story, or to realize they've failed to and that their actions have dire effect upon others such as myself.

No going backwards into the same problems and problem people. Hurt me once, shame on you. Full capacity and clear trend to hurt me twice or thrice? Dead to me. "Include this"

I have come to the same conclusion. Why waste my time with people who will not listen to me? This is *not* love, it is just imposing a bunch of stuff on you that you are not instead of listening to who you really are. Some of the most painful and hurtful things came about, even in my own family, because I hoped they had heard instead of facing the fact that they did not hear ~ nor did they want to hear ~ a single thing I tried to tell them. It has always been a BIG mistake to allow it and has only resulted in heartbreak beyond anything bearable. Much as you may long it isn't so, sometimes it is better to keep to your principals rather than "compromise" your heart to a bunch of people who do not give a damn about you or who you are, they only "care" when you are who THEY fantasize you to be.

Love, Cat in Seattle
