My experience with exorcising a lost love
I think this is my first post to this group. I'm a lone witch, by necessity. I live in an area where being known could be dangerous. I have some experience in these matters. A ritual I use when in need is to go outside to a remote area, which is easy where I live, and cast a circle, and commune with the universe. It is like a prayer - and I have learned the hard way that you have to be careful what you ask for. For example, after my cat died, I asked the universe to send me a cat. I now have two indoor cats and five or six outdoor cats.... LOL. Recently I broke up with a man I had been seeing, and I needed to rid myself of the pain and loss. So first, I lovingly put a letter I had written him (and not sent) into my caldron, along with a pair of pajamas he had left at my house, and a picture of him, that i had cut into pieces, and burned them, along with a pint of his best scotch. As it burned, I asked the Universe to free me from the relationship, take away the pain and the tears, and set us both free, no harm to anyone. I felt immense peace later, and even though there is still residual pain, the universe always provides. This was done without rancor and without bitterness. I even asked for all bitterness to leave, and for me to gain peace, understanding, and love and let him go with love.
I have also asked for other things before, and found that if I get specific, I will always get what I ask for, usually in threes. So I've learned to be very careful and to always rely on the wisdom of my guides, rather than my own limited wants, which may not be sufficiently vetted to be good for me.
Has anyone had similar experiences, and do you have any advice or comments?
Thanks.

(15,888 posts)So, tell us, did your ritual work out for you? It sounds as if you did a good job, very thorough. I especially like that you let this person go with love. I am wondering where on earth do you live where this practice is considered dangerous. I have to run off to work soon (I work nights) so I'll be back in the morning. Meanwhile, WELCOME!!!
I live in SW Missouri. Even my late husband was not into my religious practices and thought I was "going to hell." LOL.
It did work, and probably even better than I planned.
I kind of wish now I had not been so thorough. But once done, hard to undo.
Sad, in a way.
We must be careful what we wish for.

(2,593 posts)The downside to doing this spell is, even later if you have a change of heart or wish to undo it, it is not easily undone. I am glad that i performed the spell. But I sort of miss the emotions - even though they were negative and not good for me at all. I'm free - but he is not as free as I am. The spell worked on me - and less so on him. So now I'm dealing with the aftermath, and it is sad that I have lost my passion. That is my explanation. If anyone wants more information regarding this very powerful spell, I'll be glad to elaborate. It has to be personal and it needs to take some time to manifest - in all, it took four hours for the burning to finish.

(13,985 posts)You did the right thing by burning his pjs, anything of his would've worked the same. Another thing that will.help is sea salt in the corners if the house, that will rid of his energy. Also, what worked for me, was carrying a small photo of my ex in my shoe, under your foot. Its part of a spell which helps with reconciliation, but since you already parted ways it will help your subconcious get over him.

(2,593 posts)I'm really doing well about it. I have almost lost the urge to see him and talk to him. I'm hoping he is out of my life for good. He was bad news.
I'm going to try the sea salt and the picture.
And I will let you know how it goes.
