But, as an agnostic, I can prove we will ALL enjoy an afterlife, if our organic bodies are allowed to properly decay, after we die! And then there are levels to eternal hell, for ALL species, on Earth...

And, let me add [on edit] readership here is appallingly low.

So, who recognizes this image?

I apologize to yumalaton. The post before yours was removed by someone. Can Trump-trolls still trick real people into allowing computer generated anomalies or REAL "spies" to appear as "Hosts, Moderators, Jurors and Juries @ Democratic Underground? "High" back! LOL Who wants a new friend? By the way, this could be a message from Jesus, Mohamed or the Flying (orbiting) Spaghetti Monster God/ Goddess, which is The Unrivaled, Funniest Deity, ever described. Who is truly allowed to formulate natural law and control gravity!

Last night's posting on 8/5/16, was a written example of several reasons to not write while drinking. I have lived with women, who described themselves as Witches. Like ANY worshipers, Pagans have rights and deserve respect. I will make further repairs to these and other online comments, when I have more time to reflect on my own "Hypocrisy." Then, I will present some fascinating history on the oppression of numerous religions and belief systems.

Obviously, this ancient Country Music does not apply to some truly religious people; however, for Repukes masquerading as Pagans and Christians, Muslims, Jews or Earth Worshipers (aka Native Americans,} Heathens, Wicca, etc. Here is your One Hit Wonder...

And as we marvel at the utter destruction of planet Earth, we can enjoy living during the largest extinction period ever documented. Can we learn to worship the complete destruction of every species, including Homo Sapien, Sapien = Humans (aka Humanity)? Current scientific records confirm that in the past few years, more species vanished faster than they did during an occurrence called The Chicxulub Event, where dinosaurs became extinct. Migratory dinosaurs were already plagued by deadly diseases, long before some Divinely Redeeming Meteor ended their suffering.

But, in the true form of Thomas Jefferson and other crafters of the U.S. Constitution, I will defend our honor of worshiping, as defined by The Bill of Rights.

I have lately become interested in finding some like-minded folks near me. Is there a way to do that, in this group?

I live in northern New Jersey.

I'm not a pagan, but there are many pagan ideas I love. And I enjoy reading this forum and learning. If I find something I don't like, I just pass on it. As an "outsider", I see no reason to ridicule or question others' beliefs. Much of pagan belief is easier for me to accept than any other religion. If I ask questions that are so rudimentary that they seem silly, please excuse me.

Hello icymist,

It looks like you are the only one participating in this thread. That makes me think this DU community is not flooded with folks interested in ancient wisdom or pagan spirituality. I find that disappointing. I assumed that there would be a bunch of spiritually open and diverse belief participants in such a progressive digital community.

I am a proud crone, as you can tell by my user name. I have been living in the almost wilderness for the last 27 years with my husband and family. We are homesteaders and live in a beautiful progressive enclave surrounded by farmers, loggers and other resource heavy light thinking segments of our society. We, our local community. mostly is focused on living with simple material needs and caring for this beautiful biosphere we live in and expressing ourselves creatively and with open minds.

My local sisters here have been gathering as women and celebrating life and its various phases and challenges together. We are very eclectic as a 'spiritual' practicing group, borrowing from many traditions. Most of us are crones now but recently some mom's have asked us to put together a 'celebration, welcoming their adolescent daughters to the Sisterhood. We aren't sure exactly what we will include in this celebration, because their girls have not grown up in as alternative a lifestyle as our children did, and we certainly don't want to scare them off with our, some would say, excessive personal freedom mind, body and spirit practices.

We have also come to a time in our lives when our loved ones are beginning to end their lives here in this experience of living in a skin suit with Consciousness, so are having to relearn and create new ways of dealing with the dieing process and all that that entails in conscious ways, as well as addressing the many facets of dealing with the body of a loved one.

Well, I just ran out of steam for the evening. Take good care, mmo

I see that you are new to the DU as well so allow me to welcome you to the DU! There are a few Pagan people here, occasionally they will post here in this group. This site is a pretty big place and I imagine many get lost in the GD or Lounge. I try and maintain this group with news that others may find interesting. New discussions and such are always welcomed here. Relax, kick your shoes off and have fun! Bright Blessings!

Just stopping by to say hello. It is nice to see a pagan presence here. I am particularly nervous this year about the increased theocratic rhetoric from the GOP. I have never been as concerned about maintaining my religious liberty as I am presently. At any rate I am new here and very happy to see a pagan presence!

I'm all over the place religion-wise.

I was raised Christian fundamentalist, but was always obsessed with witchcraft and magic.

I spent most of my adulthood in the Broom Closet.

Now, I'm mostly out, but I'm also very interested in Buddhism. I don't see any conflict, as Buddhism is a very flexible religion.

Dreamer and 5x Scorpio here.

I've had so many dreams of different times and places, starting when I was 8 (that I remember).

My chart has Sun, Mercury, Venus, Neptune, and Scorpio rising.

2 covens asked me to join, and I didn't even know that I was a witch, still not sure. I went through initiation with one, then decided it was too much like Catholicism with the strict timeline and rules....so I rejected it. I consider myself a Universal Spiritualist, as I recognize no God/just the Oneness of All Things, The connectedness of everything.
