Starhawk is doing an online Winter Solstice ritual via live video TONIGHT

I just received an email about it. This is a live event via online video.

If you are interested, go to Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com and search for Starhawk. That will bring up the info. Tickets are $20, but that can be for more than one person.

The ritual is LIVE today from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM Pacific Time. However, your $20 also gets you a video of the event that will be emailed to you within 24 hours. They are using an online video platform called Zoom for the online ritual, but I don't know if you'll need that to view the video later or not.

Anyhow, if you've never been to a Starhawk ritual, this is a great opportunity to experience it. I've been to a few, and they are pretty spectacular! She is also very political, so who knows what will be included.

ETA: Ticket sales will cut off at 5:00 PM Pacific, so that everyone can focus on the ritual.

I used to be more concentrated in my pagan following, but have fallen off. Read her foundational tome, of course, as well as many others. Still have in my library. I will try to catch this. I "identify" as a pagan-humanist-Unitarian. 😉

Just FYI, if you don't have any EventBrite account, you might want to create one before buying a ticket. That way, you can double-check your purchase easily. It took about a half hour to get my confirmation email, so I was starting to worry. I wouldn't have worried if I'd been able to check on them.

On Starhawk... yes, she and Reclaiming we're definitely foundational for me. Have you ever been to one of their rituals? The most amazing ones for me were Spiral Dance, which I've attended twice. Totally amazing.

Hope the tech works well for this one! We shall see...

If you registered for the event, so they have your email, it will be sent to you. I don't know if it will be available to those who didn't register, but I would think eventually it would.

6. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't what I had hoped to see.

It's mostly just Starhawk herself, but she is always a good ritual leader, so it's well done. But I had hoped to see some Reclaiming folks, too.
