'Witchcraft' Island Reveals Evidence of Stone Age Rituals
<snip>
The team began archaeological fieldwork on the island in the spring of 2014. "The results are astonishing and reveal extensive human activities on the island in the Mesolithic Stone Age," the archaeologists wrote.
People who travelled to the island may have practiced various rituals inside the two caves, archaeologists say. One cave contains what may be an altar where offerings could have been made to deities. Meanwhile another cave has an area that could have been used like a "theater" or "stage."

(15,235 posts)I've got to dig through mountains of hand-written, anthropological research to find the poetic justice of Earth, Water, Air and Fire... I still remember parts of it... "Earth-stone Mother, Ancient Goddess of the crystal"... "Oh, Golden Eagle of the Wind, feather of the Setting Sun!"

(15,235 posts)And I am still pissed-off about the Forth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution! Witches are allowed to "bare arms, under the Second Amendment! If Michele Obama "Bares Arms" only to be criticized for inappropriate nudity (typical male, chauvinist, pig shit from previous, sexist, Trumpeters) ::: WHAT DID TRUMP'S WIFE DO ON THE MOST READ PRINT MEDIA IN THE USA? This question is only addressed to hypocrites! Who want to hear the history of that Trump-like (hypocrite) name from numerous cultures?

When his bigots put Trump in control, his royal wife will become the High Priestess of Stupidism. Meanwhile a First Lady at least as beautiful as Jacqueline Kennedy, Onasis, was condemned for this renowned photograph, because she has a sleeveless dress and bare arms: Is Trump's wife held to the same standards?
If Nudism becomes a religion can we return to The Garden of Eden?

(15,235 posts)Naturism, or nudism, is a cultural and political movement practicing, advocating and defending social nudity, most but not all of which takes place on private property. The term may also refer to a lifestyle based on personal, family and/or social nudism.

(15,235 posts)or the Oracle at Delphi, especially about female soothsayers, called Sibyls, who practiced Bibliomancy?
One of the most enigmatic events in Roman history (or legend) arose from The Cumaean Sibyl, selling Sibylline Books to the last king of ancient Rome, Lucius Tarquinius Superbus, who died in 495 BCE. By 370 BCE, the Roman Senate protected and controlled release of information from prophetic Sibylline Books. After politicians and military leaders decided, which phrase would influence public opinion, they released their interpretations of Sibylline Books. Ancient architects designed some of the most important oracular shrines in history, due to public release of information from Sibylline Books. In legend, the Cumaean Sibyl parleyed value of books, by burning them, until the king paid full price.
Does anyone believe this historic account from a book I am writing?
Men and women holding equal religious rank suggests Gnosticism, which arose in the first and second centuries based on Platonic dualism. Pope Innocent III openly labeled Gnosticism as heresy, unleashing the Albigensian Crusade, from 1209 until 1255 CE, upon the Gnostic Catharists of Southern France. After capturing a small village of Servian, Crusaders headed for Béziers, arriving on July 21, 1209 CE. Although surrounded, the town refused demands to hand over Catharists. Béziers fell the next day, as Crusaders followed a retreating counter-assault into the city and slaughtered the entire population of over ten-thousand, in a town protecting around five-hundred Catharists. News of the eradication at Béziers spread rapidly, causing other settlements to surrender and Gnostics to evacuate to safer nations. Cathar strongholds progressively fell, the largest at Peyrepertuse in 1240 CE. Military efforts took a toll on Gnosticism, until the Spanish Inquisition, starting in 1478 CE, destroyed the belief.

(15,888 posts)This is not a place for tabloid articles. Besides, it is not up to you to decide who a real pagan is or isn't. That is something very personal to the people who wish to post here. Please take some time out to reflect on this. Bright Blessings.
