The station, the only station, tuned into when I'm in my ride plays close to 100% Smooth R&B and Classsic Old School!
They just include a spiritual around 5p.
And I don't mind.

Long story short, FM is limited or nonexistent here. However there are 50,000 watt AM oldies and sports talk stations that avoid religion "religiously" ... politics, too.

Oldies float my boat!

Some other alternatives.

• CD's (my 2018 has a CD player) I have lots of CD's. I bought a giant collection at the thrift store once, all classical.
• ipods. My tiny nano still works!
• Internet radio. (my go-to at home)

Cellular is spotty in mountain roads. Probably steady elsewhere. I have mentioned my favorites: KUSC, WBJC, WQXR (especially the Operavore Channel) and others. Either via their apps, or streaming via browser. No commercials, as well,.

ON EDIT.

I didn't even notice that this was posted in Religion. I am so used to your posts in classical music. I had a crazy busy day organizing boxes of documents, receipts, photos and manuals, and took a walk (hike) afterwards.

So just let me say, long story short that there are many profound classical works of a religious nature especially masses, far more appropriate and satisfying.

Even "classical stations" on the radio waves repeat highly popular pieces, most of which I have heard hundreds of times, and very few bear such constant repetition. That's why I mentioned internet choice. You can experience a mass or other by Bach, Mozart or Verdi (and others, including Bernstein), religious in a deep and mystical way.

Hard to ruin, even in the opening of "Casino"

Pax!
