(33,643 posts)XY is essentially a mutation of XX. 'Males' were created by evolution as means to promote genetic diversity. All mammal fetuses are anatomically FEMALE until like 30% of the way into their gestation, they essentially mutate into the male form. Ovaries eventually mutate into testes, labia into scrotum, etc.
The idea that the 'male' form is in ANY WAY primary over the 'female' ... is ludicrous.

Hanlon's razor--don't attribute to malice what can be adequately explained by stupidity. (Although it feels so much better to assume the other side isn't just in an error of fact, but an error of virtue and morality ... But that says more about the attributer, I guess, and information is always good to have.)
