Why do Christians think they can covert the Atheists if they have to keep converting the Christians?

of trying to covert to make them feel special. They really don't care if the person convert or not. But they scored points with God.

Religious people seem to have a strong desire for interdependence with others. Those who are not religious seem to have a stronger need to be self-reliant and independent. My life experience tells me that a lot of people use religion as a social construct more than a spiritual belief but what do I know, I'm a atheist.

I think the politicization of religion in the last 40 years is one of the primary factors that has lead us to the point we are now in America. I find it scary and weird.

4. Fundies and Mormons are supposedly meant to proselytize to follow Christ's teachings...

problem is the hypocrites don't seem to follow a lot Christ's other teachings except as it suits their wants.
