but no, that wouldn't be Taoism. A Taoist doesn't look to change anything. In Taoism, you just know that change happens — change is the only constant — and you accept that change.

I was being a bit flip.

I’m not a practitioner of any religion. I did enjoy my comparative religion class in college and Taoism was particularly interesting to me.

I like the idea that one has a certain amount of energy and should spend it on things that matter, it has become part of my own personal philosophy.

Perhaps my ideas have morphed over the many years since I learned about that.
