Tenebrae







Man, did this bring back memories. Being an inmate of a Catholic Indoctrination Camp, I was required to participate in all the rituals and ceremonies. And as this story illustrates, there were many. Ultimately, this was a major contributing factor to my leaving the Church.

There were a few things missing. Things like feeding the poor and tending the sick. Who's got time to do all that when you're singing songs and lighting candles? The expression Worship the man, ignore the message became obvious with each Hallelujah.
