It gas been such a laugh to see those who claim christ rules their life to run to the spawn of Sata. Why? Because they want the power over all us heathens that the con-man will give them.

Whatever he calls himself, he is a con man.

My view is that he does not believe in anything other than himself. The ultimate narcissist.

Entire denominations of Christianity sing his praises. Were it not for the Christian Right, he would have lost in a landslide. What of that, Guy? Even after ample time for Trump to demonstrate his nature, he is still widely supported by many Christians.

I find that puzzling to an extraordinary degree.

Many Russian sectarians aided, abetted, and supported the Bolsheviks.

The Bolshevik's weren't supported by sectarians because they thought Lenin was a good Xian, whatever that may have meant; he and his group were supported because the sectarians thought they'd have breathing space and enjoy greater rights or benefits under the Bolsheviks. It's an ahistorical insult to think they thought Lenin "righteous." It was simply a pragmatic move on their part. Even if many did say it was God's will to support the Bolshevik's.

Old Believers and various Protestant faiths had real troubles under the tsars. People pursue their interests as they see them; those are their only true interests if you value self-determination as a human right.

Few thought Cyrus (or "Koresh&quot to be a great righteous ruler in the fashion of Moses or David; but he let the Jews home go after conquering the Assyrians, and that counted for much. If you think you need some sort of Bible reference, that's one. Here's another. Even under the Romans the Jews had more freedoms than many people, and Paul, writing before the destruction of Jerusalem, saw that. One doesn't have to be a true believer and righteous, in other words, for God's people to benefit. When somebody's called a "righteous gentile," it doesn't mean they're pious and Torah-observant.

Of course, the Bolsheviks quickly treated the Old Believers worse than the tsars ever did. Then again, the Bolsheviks treated pretty much everybody worse than the tsars ever did.

Many very popular and influential Christian leaders, and their millions upon millions of followers, enthusiastically support him because he's openly Christian. Yes, Obama was openly Christian too, but they didn't believe him. They didn't believe Hillary either. They believe Trump.

primarily to make abortion illegal. They hitched their wagon to the wrong horse but are too obstinate to admit the mistake. Doesn't help that a whole "conservative" media industry has been falsely propped up by special interests to keep people from exploring other sources of information.

...it is what they are used to, the disconcodance, the non-comportment with what they know is good, true and right, they see it as a test, it strengthens their resolve to prove their "faith", mostly to themselves so as to alay their own gnawing inner doubt.

It is the same reason why so many express outward evengical rhetoric and action, even when decency would require a good person to keep their own religious counsel silently to themselves.

I understand.

They doubt, they fear, they act out and grasp at anything no matter how vile to quell the doubt and hide the fear.

They call themselves sheep.

They flock to Trump.
