Let's go Liverpool!!!
Hoping for a 3-0 win over West Ham.
Mo to get two. Mane to get one. Bobby to get a hat-trick of assists.
Leicester to take 3 points off United at old Trafford and Moaninho to be gone by Christmas.
I expect City will pick up where they left off, and Chelski will be strong.
Spurs...who knows. They should be as strong or stronger than last season.
My top 10 prediction:
Liverpool
Manchester City
Spurs
Chelsea
Manchester United
Everton
Leicester City
Burnley
West Ham
Brighton and Hove Albion

(2,343 posts)and made the decision to support West Ham only because of an episode of the tv series The IT Crowd in which the 2 computer nerds decide to try and hang out with some macho football supporters. One of the macho guys asks one of the nerds which team he supports, so he looks around the pub they're in and sees a sign that says West and then he sees a ham on a table and blurts out "West Ham". Since i don't know much about premier league, i decided to just go with West Ham! I'm a dork.

(3,622 posts)Great club with a long history.
They should do well this season.
Good luck and welcome to real football.

(3,622 posts)Liverpool, Chelsea, City, Spurs, United all pick up 3 points.
Loving the new season already.

(3,622 posts)A deep hatred of Manchester United.
Liverpool fan here since I first saw them play (And lose) to Arsenal in the 71 FA cup final...
We meet tomorrow at your place. Would love to come away from there with three points but Schmeikel is a very solid keeper, Maguire is very capable and the team is generally very cohesive.
Vardy is out with a red so that's one arrow removed from leicesters quiver.
Anyway, welcome aboard. Looking forward to a strongly contested season.
I agree that it looks like City, Liverpool and Spurs are all capable of making a run at top spot but in the end it it boils down to squad depth and a little luck.
Hopefully Liverpool will end up on top!

(3,622 posts)I think we deserved at least one point and were lucky to get three.
Sigh of relief here.
Now I'm hoping for Burnley to get three.

(3,622 posts)Im hoping for Salah, Firmino and Mane to finally gel tomorrow...
They've been good but a little rusty.
Also looking for Trent Alexander-Arnold to find his range on the cross.

(3,622 posts)Of taking 3 off United.
If that happens will "the special one" then become the first ELL manager to get sacked?

(14,800 posts)Hoping Cardiff City go down, just for having Colin Wanker as their manager.

(3,622 posts)Spurs look strong too.
Personally, I hate United...

(3,622 posts)United picked up 3 points at Watford, it's looking dire for the Magpies, Chelsea and Liverpool both remain unbeaten.
Oh and City look very solid...

(3,622 posts)Are more enjoyable than seeing United on the wrong end of the score.

(11,070 posts)Stunner from Sturridge at the end. What a goal.

(3,622 posts)Sturridge scored a stunner and salvaged a point for us.
Chelski are a very solid club this year. We were lucky to get away from the Bridge with a point today.
Happy to se the Hammers take United down.
Next games for us are Napoli at their place and then City.
Honestly, not too concerned by either...
Chelski were the best we've seen so far...we learned a lot.
